Daniel_Ricciardo-Canadian_GP-2014-S01(1)Daniel Ricciardo managed to pass Nico Rosberg’s crippled Mercedes with two laps to go to win a thrilling Canadian Grand Prix.

Rosberg held on to take second ahead of Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel, helped by a last-lap safety car following a crash between Sergio Perez and Felipe Massa.

Lewis Hamilton was forced to retire with a brake failure and is now 22 points behind Rosberg in the championship.

Things took a turn for the better for  Jenson Button who stunningly took fourth with late charge when he passed Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso on the penultimate lap.
