Belgian Grand Prix Practice 2 – Results

Red Bulls take charge of the Belgian Grand Prix practice and put their cars on the top positions of the time sheets.

This morning’s 90 minute session was run in tricky damp conditions, although the dry middle sector did tempt the drivers into sampling the hard compound tyre.

The weather made the first session relatively inconclusive, but for what it’s worth, Fernando Alonso was quickest, from Paul di Resta, Adrian Sutil, Sergio Perez and Nico Rosberg. Somewhat surprisingly, the Lotuses were bottom of the timesheets in FP1, though they should go quicker this afternoon.

Despite ending his session early because of a puncture, Vettel finishes in P1. Webber is second and Grosjean third, ahead of Massa, Vergne, Raikkonen, Alonso, Perez, Rosberg, Di Resta.
