After a chilli start this morning the sun started to burst free thru the clouds and the temperatures raise a bit around the Nurburgring just in time for the free practice two.
The morning session was dominated by Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton setting the fastest time and his team-mate Nico Rosberg claiming P2 as Ferrari had a nightmare session as Fernando Alonso didn’t set any time this morning because of the ECU issues.
Within 20 minutes to go all teams focused on long runs and the order was dictated by Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who seemed a lot happier with the new Pirelli tyres.
