Lewis Hamilton was in total control of the race from start to finish and one must say he had it easy after his teammate Nico Rosberg made a crucial mistake in turn one and was forced to change tyres after just 1 lap.
Williams’s Valtteri Bottas was third ahead of McLaren’s Jenson Button.
The Englishman had been in a battle with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, but the Spaniard dropped back behind the second McLaren of Kevin Magnussen after Ferrari mechanics screwed up during his pitstop.
Alonso fended off a challenge from Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo and managed to keep the Australian behind for more than fifteen laps and finished the race in sixth place.
