Ferrari’s new Formula 1 car which will compete in the upcoming World Championship was unveiled today February 1st.
It is called the F138, a name which combines the year of production with the number of cylinders (8).
The Italian team, whose drivers are the Spaniard Fernando Alonso and the Brazilian Felipe Massa, explained that the name of its 59th single-seater was also chosen to mark the final year using the V8 engine configuration, after eight years of competition.
