Canadian GP 2014 – Qualifying – Results

Rosberg beats Hamilton to pole and conserves Monaco momentum.

Rosberg edged Mercedes team-mate Hamilton to take pole position at the Canadian Grand Prix, the German driver was faster by only 0.079secs as the Mercedes team continued to compete on a level above the rest.

The biggest surprise of the qualifying was Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who took P3 ahead of the Williams of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa.

Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo had to settle for sixth, while Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso was seventh ahead of Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne and McLaren’s Jenson Button.
