Hamilton keeps himself at the top of the time sheets after second practice of the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
When the chequered flag came out Hamilton was on top with a 1:39.085s followed by Rosberg, Alonso, Ricciardo, Massa, Raikkonen, Kvyat, Magnussen, Button. The Briton had an issue with his car at the end of the session and had to retire with 20 minutes to go.
The Mercedes cars were more than a second faster than the rest of the pack so they seem to have things under control for tomorrow’s qualifying and Sunday’s race.
